Today, we are so happy and pleased to announce TEDxBloomington. This independently organized TED event will take place in April, 2011 at Indiana University in Bloomington. Here is some more information:
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
Our event is call TEDxBloomington, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxBloomington event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
In the coming weeks and months we are excited to share with you what we have been working on including the line up of speakers and several collaborative proejcts!
