Mr. Achor travels around the United States and Europe giving talks on positive psychology to Fortune 500 corporations, schools, and non-profit organizations, including American Express, Credit Suisse, KPMG, Harvard Law School, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, One Day University, and Phillips Andover Academy.
Shawn Achor graduated magna cum laude from Harvard with a BA in English and Religion and earned a Masters degree from Harvard Divinity School in Christian and Buddhist ethics. He served as Head Teaching Fellow with Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar of “Positive Psychology,” a class that enrolled 1 out of every 7 Harvard undergraduates. For seven years, he served as an Officer of Harvard, living in Harvard Yard and counseling students through the stresses of their first year.
